Q: Can you explain the Malwarebytes Referral Program to me?
A: Malwarebytes offers rewards to customers for spreading the word about our products. If someone you refer makes a purchase on the site, you can earn a reward. Give friends 55% off their first order, and you’ll receive a gift card for referring a friend. The purchase requirements and reward amounts and/or percentages can change, but the most current promotion can always be found here in the FAQs. See below.
Q: How do I get started?
A: Simply click on the Give 55% off widget on the left side of various pages on www.malwarebytes.com.
Q: What methods can I use to share?
A: You can share via email, Facebook, SMS, or with a link!
Q: How do I know when I’ve earned a reward?
A: We’ll email you your gift card 61 days after your friends purchase.
Q: How many friends can I share with?
A: You can share with as many as you like, and you’ll receive rewards for each new friend who makes a purchase.
Q: How does my friend know they have a discount?
A: Once you share, your friends will receive a promotion code via email.
Q: Does the 55% refer-a-friend coupon expire?
A: Yes. There is a 30-day expiration date for the code that you send to your friends.
Q: When do I get my reward?
A: Upon your friend completing their purchase, you will receive your reward in 61 days if your friend does not request a refund.
Q: What are the amounts for the different awards (after discount)?
A: The amounts for the different awards after discount are:
- $5 GC for $25.00 purchase (after discount)
- $10 GC for $50.00 purchase (after discount)
- $25 GC for $100.00 purchase (after discount)
- $50 GC for $250.00 purchase (after discount)
Q: Can I combine my 55% coupon code with other promotions?
A: Unfortunately, you cannot combine the code with other promotions on the site.
Q: Is there a way to keep track of my referrals?
A: Yes! You will receive an email every couple of weeks showing you the status of your referrals and rewards. If you are eligible for a reward, it will automatically be sent to you.
Q: I accidentally deleted my reward email. Can it be resent?
A: Absolutely! Just contact us at SaferTogetherMWB@malwarebytes.com we’ll re-send you the reward via email. We will ask you to provide us with the email address you used when you joined the Malwarebytes Referral Program.
Q: I referred my friend, they made a purchase, but I never got a reward.
A: Please contact us at SaferTogetherMWB@malwarebytes.com, and provide us with the email address you used when you joined the Malwarebytes Referral Program.
Q: Is there a dollar limit I can redeem?
A: Yes, $600 because of government regulations.
