How your business can avoid potentially unwanted programs
PUP.Optional.GlobalHop is Malwarebytes' detction name for potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) published by Globalhop Ltd.
PUP.Optional.GlobalHop is usually installed by users themselves. PUPs are programs that show some unwanted behavior which may include advertising, toolbars, and pop-ups that are unrelated to the software you downloaded.
Malwarebytes blocks the installer for PUP.Optional.GlobalHop to give users the choice to reconsider the installation.

Should users wish to keep this program and exclude it from being detected in future scans, they can add the program to the exclusions list. Here’s how to do it.
If you want to allow the program to connect to the Internet, for example to fetch updates, also add an exclusion of the type Allow an application to connect to the internet and use the Browse button to select the file you wish to grant access.
Malwarebytes can detect and remove PUP.Optional.GlobalHop without further user interaction.
You can use the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Nebula console to scan endpoints.
