The Adware.MapsAds browser extensions inject advertisments and are promoted on websites offering some functionality. They started out as online maps which is why they were named MapsAds, but they have branched out since then.

Download and install the latest version of Malwarebytes for Mac.

Click the “Scan Now” button to perform a system scan.
