PUP.MacBooster is a so-called system optimizer.  These so-called “system optimizers” have been known to use intentional false positives to convince users that their systems have problems. Then they try to sell you their software, claiming it will remove these problems. Others will turn out to be Tech Support Scammers when you call them. PUP.MacBooster is often installed by bundlers.
