Short bio

PUP.Optional.OneStart is Malwarebytes’ detection name for a potentially unwanted browser that behaves like adware.

Type and source of infection

OneStart is marketed as an AI supported browser, but it shows the user advertisements not originating from the websites they are visiting. Also some users report they don’t know how it got installed on their system, so it may be installed as part of a bundler.
