Password guessing

Password guessing is a “brute force” method of gaining access to an encrypted account or system by systematically guessing its password. Typically, a dictionary type scheme is used to do this. Guessing a password successfully is only possible in the event that weak passwords are used. Check out our password generator tool to create a strong password that is hard to guess.

Password guessing shouldn’t be confused with password cracking.
