Password Generator

Create strong and unique passwords in seconds.

One of the biggest security risks to your digital life is a weak password for online accounts.

A strong password should be a complex password – the one that includes at least 12 characters (though we think you should use even more!), uses letters and numbers, symbols and special characters, and most importantly – is a unique password.

Use our safe password generator below to create a strong, random password anytime you need it.

WHAT MAKES A STRONG PASSWORD:

  • It includes a mix of special characters, numbers and symbols to have a combination that is not easy to guess.
  • It has at least 12 characters (but preferably even longer) and includes letters and numbers, in addition to the special characters and symbols. We recommend 64 characters as it allows the use of passphrases – sequence of words.
  • It is unique and not re-used across multiple online accounts.
  • It is regularly updated – make sure to refresh your passwords at least once in a few months.
  • It is not stored physically – nothing is more vulnerable than a Post-It note on your monitor.

What is a password generator?

A password generator is our free tool that allows you to create strong and random passwords. These unique passwords are hard to crack or guess as they are complex and include numbers, special characters and a mix of upper and lower case letters.

Why should you use a password generator?

The automated password generator will create passwords based on your parameters and will flag if your password is too weak or not strong enough. You will be able to easily generate passwords for each online account vs. re-using one password across multiple properties.
