OSX.CDDS is Malwarebytes’ detection name for a backdoor that targets machines running macOS.

OSX.CDDS is a full-featured backdoor that allows the threat actor to  control pretty much everything on the affected system. OSX.CDDS has been found to be spread as fake Flash updates, but also as the payload in a watering hole attack using a chain of vulnerabilities.

Download and install the latest version of Malwarebytes for Mac.
