OSX.ElectrumStealer is a trojanized Electrum Wallet that tries to steal cryptocurrencies from the infected systems. OSX.ElectrumStealer is spread sending an error message in the form of a prompt for a “required update” to the nodes connected to the threat actors server(s) on the Electrum network.
