OSX.SilverSparrow is a Trojan that is able to download and install additional malware on an affected system. The .pkg file contains malicious JavaScript code that installs a launch agent plist file for the current user. OSX.SilverSparrow is typically installed by the users themselves because the .pkg files are offered as legitimate programs or updates.
