Security firm Malwarebytes has released its annual list of predictions for cybersecurity issues in the next year.

Malwarebytes today announced it was ranked 313 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America. Malwarebytes grew its revenue by greater than 250 percent between FY2014 and FY2017.

Everyone lives on the internet. Whether you’re streaming Netflix, swiping on Tinder, or completing errands like paying bills online, the Internet is more than a way to spend time. It’s an integral part of your life. Unfortunately, these same conveniences make you a target for cyberattacks. To avoid the above scenarios altogether, it helps to use cybersecurity software. Malwarebytes is a program that scans for cyber threats on Windows, Mac, and Android devices. Compared to traditional antivirus software, it’s faster, smarter, and easier to use.

Malwarebytes started when, at 14 years old, I infected my computer with malware while downloading a video game. I turned to the internet and to those with the expertise to help me remove the virus, and the rest is history. From a hard-copy manual, we began writing free applications to improve and simplify the process of removing malware.
